Knitting: Kindle Sleeve

My friend Susanne’s birthday is coming up.  It is always nice to be remembered on your birthday, albeit certain extent of banality.  Recalling that Susanne has a Kindle, I decided to knit a cover for her.

The yarn I chose was very vibrant in color.  The combination of orange, red, green, and white reminded me of mango and summer for some reason.  At least it is bright enough so she won’t misplace her Kindle.  🙂

If you are interested in the pattern, check it out here (Ravelry registration needed)

Got it started using Judy’s Magic Cast-on

When the corner emerge, it looks like a small hat.

Very self-sufficient knitting project.
Yarn can be stored inside.
