A Witch’s brew? Second attempt on the Mother

After the Mother perished yesterday, the baker other half began his mission searching for more promising starter recipes.  When I came home today, he has set up the experiment.  While I looked at him funny, I went along with the science project.  Here are some pictures of the Witch’s brew:

Potato is rich is starch, along with honey as natural sugar; this mixture hopefully will capture wild yeast.

Yes, you read it right.  There are grapes in the jar.  Apparently the white substance that is usually found on grape skin is yeast.  I am not a complete believer yet, but we will see what will happen!
